Inside Sales Representative

Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Overtime Eligible!)
Pay Range: $22.80 - $31.35/hr, based on experience.
Location: Anaheim, CA 92807
The Inside Sales position consists of increasing revenue through the acquisition of new accounts, suggestive selling techniques, and fostering and nurturing professional relationships. Responsibilities focus on coordinating and delivering services to our customers—processing orders for deliveries and pick‑ups, handling telephone inquiries that may involve mechanical or operational troubleshooting, and acting as a virtual link between customers, sales, dispatch, and management to ensure quality solutions and service. This position will work approximately 80% in the office and 20% out in the yard and will cross‑train with Dispatch.

Position Requirements
2-3 years customer service experience required
2-3 years inside sales (direct customer contact) experience preferred
Comfortable working independently or with a team—any task could go either way
Technologically capable: Microsoft Suite knowledge, Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), AS 400 highly preferred
Top‑notch communicator with an infectious personality; comfortable and charming
Valid unrestricted driver’s license
Excellent customer service skills; maintain a positive attitude when talking to many people
Collaborative with other team members—sales goals require teamwork
High attention to detail and ability to switch tasks with ease
Responsibilities
Answer and document all incoming telephone calls to assist customers with rental needs, including outside sales, vendors, administrative personnel, and other inquiries
Perform routine rental transactions—create reservations, schedule pickups, create quotes, and process returned driver orders
Assist walk‑in customers, vendors, job applicants, and others in an upbeat, professional manner
Help customers select appropriate equipment for their job to ensure satisfaction and safety
Communicate via two‑way radio with the yard and shop to assist with loading/unloading and equipment needs for orders
Review the credit card rental file daily for accurate billing
Enter lost rentals, rate inquiries, and service calls into the counter logbook
Review the open contract bin regularly to identify items for rent and verify closed contracts and credit card files
Communicate leads to field sales personnel for follow‑up
May be required to help load/unload and deliver equipment for customers
May be scheduled for extended hours and/or on‑call/standby rotation
May perform other duties as assigned
