The
Strategic Account Manager
is a pivotal role that drives sales growth through End-User, Value Added Reseller relationships and demand creation. This position requires a strategic and results-oriented professional who excels in outside sales and possesses a strong understanding of optical transceivers and high-speed cables, network connectivity products, and their specific applications within targeted channels for datacenters.
The Strategic Account Manager will travel and collaborate with internal and external sales, marketing, product, and operational resources to develop and execute internal and customer-facing strategies for their key accounts. Additionally, this role will work with the broader ENET sales team to ensure their key accounts have sourcing strategies with existing ENET customers.
The Strategic Account Manager role is responsible for creating and implementing annual sales plans and ultimately working closely with ENET leadership to drive revenue and meet company objectives.
Responsibilities
Develop and nurture relationships with key end-user accounts focusing demand creation for all ENET products and solutions.
Understand the unique needs of each account and provide tailored solutions to drive business growth.
Regularly assess account performance and identify opportunities to expand product and service offerings.
Create and execute comprehensive sales plans annually, aligned with organizational objectives.
Collaborate with inside, outside, and third-party sales resources to develop and implement sales strategies.
Identify new market opportunities and recommend innovative approaches to penetrate untapped segments.
Drive key client sales through ENET existing distributor network when appropriate, identify new end user and and/or value-added resellers.
Define, measure, and report on sales KPIs, pipeline development, and partner performance.
Requirements
Knowledge of CRM usage or other sales management tool is preferred but not required.
Technical experience and knowledge in Optic Transceivers and High-Speed Cables in Data Center AI/HPC environment applications.
Appropriate product knowledge and ability to learn new products and technology quickly and easily.
Proven track record in key account management.
5-7 years of experience.
Travel 10% based on business needs.
Education
Bachelors degree in Sales or a related field strongly preferred.
