Account Executive, Ad Tech Sales

DoorDash, New York, New York, us, 10261

Save Job

About The Team At DoorDash, we’re building the future of retail media by transforming how retailers and brands connect across the open web. As we expand, we’re looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial, and execution-focused leader to drive growth with new retailers through our off‑site retail media SaaS platform, Symbiosys.ai.

About The Role As Account Executive you’ll be responsible for working cross‑functionally with product, sales, and retail partnerships to scale our footprint across North America. You’ll manage relationships with top‑tier retailers, shape strategy, and ensure DoorDash and Symbiosys become the premier off‑site media solution for commerce across North America. This role requires a deep understanding of the ad tech ecosystem, a customer‑first mindset, and the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels. You’ll be equally comfortable pitching a retail partnership, crafting a media plan with an advertiser, and driving internal alignment to execute on ambitious growth goals. This role will be hybrid and based out of our NYC office.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will

Own the growth and success of the region, with responsibility for retailer adoption, advertiser revenue, and market expansion.

Lead strategic partnerships with retailers, influencing their off‑site media monetization strategy and enabling integration into the DoorDash platform.

Drive advertiser success, developing go‑to‑market strategies and partnering with key advertisers and agencies to unlock revenue across the region.

Partner cross‑functionally with product, marketing, operations, and engineering teams to localize platform capabilities and build market‑ready solutions.

Represent DoorDash in the market, evangelizing our off‑site offering and positioning us as a category leader at industry events and forums.

We’re excited about you because

You have a track record of building and growing businesses in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments—especially within ad tech, retail media, or digital platforms.

You’re strategic, but not afraid to roll up your sleeves and execute.

You know how to navigate complex partnerships across retailers, brands, and technology stakeholders.

You have strong communication and influencing skills, and you can drive alignment across both internal and external stakeholders.

You’re energized by building something from the ground up and leading with ownership and urgency.
