The Sales Manager at Ocean Sky Hotel & Resort is responsible for driving revenue growth by proactively generating new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and maximizing occupancy and event bookings. This role focuses on group sales, corporate accounts, leisure travel partners, and local market opportunities while upholding the resort’s brand standards and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Revenue Generation

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed room, banquet, and event revenue goals

Proactively solicit new group, corporate, leisure, and wholesale accounts through calls, site visits, networking, and prospecting

Manage assigned sales accounts and maintain long-term client relationships

Identify new market segments and business opportunities for the resort

Client & Account Management

Respond promptly and professionally to all sales inquiries and RFPs

Conduct property tours and site inspections for prospective clients

Negotiate contracts, rates, and terms in accordance with hotel policies

Ensure seamless communication between clients and internal departments to deliver successful events and stays

Market & Industry Engagement

Represent Ocean Sky Hotel & Resort at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions

Monitor competitive set activity, market trends, and pricing strategies

Maintain knowledge of local market conditions, demand generators, and seasonal trends

Collaboration & Reporting

Work closely with Revenue Management, Catering, Front Office, and Operations teams

Prepare regular sales activity reports, forecasts, and account updates

Maintain accurate records in the property’s CRM and sales systems

Qualifications

Minimum of 2–3 years of hotel or resort sales experience (preferred)

Strong background in group, corporate, or leisure sales

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
