The Fleet Service Assistant at AC Sweepers & Maintenance plays a crucial role in ensuring the readiness of our fleet. This position involves cleaning and prepping trucks for evening shifts, which includes washing and restocking fluids, safety items, and daily supplies. You will perform light‑duty pre‑checks, such as checking oil and coolant levels, ensuring all vehicles are in optimal condition for operation. The role also encompasses organizing tools and equipment, tracking inventory, and assisting Fleet Service Technicians by delivering necessary parts. Additionally, you will be responsible for updating compliance documentation, maintaining MSDS manuals, and promptly reporting any issues identified during inspections to the Fleet Manager. By following safety protocols and ensuring all trucks are properly prepped, you will significantly reduce vehicle downtime, enabling technicians to focus on advanced diagnostics and repairs.
