Description Our client is currently seeking a Heavy Civil Superintendent to join their team. This is a full‑time, permanent position.
Responsibilities
Act in a role of general leadership for on‑site construction projects.
Draft comprehensive work plans through drawings and submittals.
Ensure the inventory of required materials for project completion is maintained.
Ensure all safety standards are implemented and maintained at all times.
Creation of a job hazard analysis.
Act as a representative of the company, reflecting their values and professionalism.
Maintain that subcontractors complete work in a timely manner.
Ensure the highest possible quality is reflected in project completion.
Collection of weekly timesheets.
Maintain that labor hours are assigned to cost codes.
Qualifications
Must have 5-7 years of experience in civil construction.
1-3 years of experience in a leadership role is required.
Proven experience with utilities, concrete work, and excavation is required.
A 2–4‑year college degree is preferred.
Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel for extended periods of time.
Thorough OSHA knowledge is required.
Proficiency with the Microsoft suite.
