
Account Manager
Job Description
Overview: Morton is growing, and we’re looking for an energetic, relationship-driven Account Manager to join our expanding IT staffing team. If you enjoy building client partnerships, developing new business, and thriving in a fun, high-performance culture, this is the role for you.
This role reports directly to the Market Manager and is based onsite in our exciting Scott’s Addition office, just minutes from the new CarMax Ballpark.
What You’ll Do
Grow relationships with new and existing clients
Leverage an established client database while driving new business development
Engage clients through proactive outreach via phone and email
Partner with our tenured recruiting team to deliver top IT talent
Generate contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire opportunities
Serve as the main point of contact throughout the client lifecycle
What We’re Looking For
Sales success in a services-based industry or 3–5 years of IT staffing experience
Strong business development and pipeline generation skills
Comfortable with client outreach and relationship building
Goal-oriented, persistent, and team-focused
