Salary Range: $104,000-$120,000
YOUR ROLE
The Key Account Manager (KAM) for Project Logistics is responsible for owning and growing the commercial relationship with strategic project‑logistics customers. This role ensures excellence in bid development, project execution support, service governance, and multi‑modal logistics delivery across complex, large‑scale, and capital‑project environments. The KAM aligns directly with CEVA’s Project Logistics operational teams to deliver safe, compliant, profitable, and customer‑focused solutions.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Account Strategy & Customer Leadership
Develop and execute a multi year Project Logistics Account Plan, including project pipeline visibility, commercial strategy, escalation paths, and relationship mapping.
Build and maintain senior level relationships within customer capital project, engineering, procurement (EPC), and logistics organizations.
Act as the primary customer advocate, ensuring alignment between customer requirements and CEVA’s PL capabilities (heavy lift, OOG cargo, charters, cross border, multimodal, site mobilization, etc.).
Commercial Management & Bid Support
Partner with Project Logistics Bid Management and Operations teams to structure competitive bids, coordinate deliverables, and validate technical/commercial feasibility.
Lead commercial negotiations, including project specific rate structures, surcharges, risk allocation, incoterms alignment, and contract change management.
Manage customer P&L performance, including revenue forecasting, AR health, margin control, and pricing discipline.
Project Execution Oversight
Work closely with Regional and Global Project Managers to ensure execution readiness, including SOP development, compliance, routing feasibility, permitting, and safety alignment.
Monitor project level KPIs, drive resolution of operational issues, and ensure clear communication with internal stakeholders (operations, procurement, engineering, chartering, transport partners).
Support project mobilization, including equipment planning, vendor sourcing, and transport engineering coordination where needed.
Lead customer MBR/QBR reviews covering performance, incidents, financials, customer feedback, and continuous improvement actions.
Identify and escalation operational or systemic issues impacting execution (e.g., routing constraints, carrier performance, compliance gaps).
Collaborate with PL leadership to refine processes and leverage lessons learned from complex project movements to strengthen CEVA’s global PL capability.
Internal Leadership & Cross Functional Alignment
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Regions, Procurement, Sales, Engineering, BPO Support Teams, and Global Project Logistics to ensure project alignment and resource availability.
Provide direction to virtual teams, ensuring synchronized customer communication and cohesive delivery across modes and geographies.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Educational background (bachelor’s degree preferred, master’s degree advantageous)
Specific logistics and or multi-national focus
The role requires a skilled relationship management professional with proven track record (10+ years) in International Supply Chain and Logistics
Experienced in commercial negotiations (5+ years)
Network management experience (5+ years)
5+ years minimum experience in key account leader role in international supply chain and logistics
Advanced supply chain knowledge (or similar flow chain processes)
Advanced industry and product knowledge in global commerce and logistics
Strong at building and sustaining relationships at the highest level in both CEVA and in customer organizations.
Mature judgment and decision-making
Advanced analytical skills leading to clearly articulated solutions.
Acute cultural and global awareness
Superior communication skills, both written and spoken
Advanced presentation skills (concise & convincing)
