What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Conduct 25+ farm and facility visits to assess feeding programs and provide recommendations
Drive sales growth by introducing new feed products and managing customer relationships
Build and maintain strong partnerships with dealers, co‑ops, and industry experts
Lead educational events to promote products and enhance customer loyalty
Utilize CRM and analytics tools to track sales and identify strategic opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications)
High school diploma or equivalent
5-10 years of industry or farm experience related to sales
Experience in feed formulation primarily for equine
Proven budget management experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual tools
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field
Ability to formulate feed related to equine
High internal drive and natural relationship‑building skills
Experience in leadership within a team environment
Willingness to travel overnight (5–10%) and daily within assigned territory
