Property Manager
to take the reins of a beautiful market-rate community in Lynchburg. If you’re a pro at balancing high-level financial strategy with top-notch resident relations, we want to talk to you!
The Mission As the Community Director, you aren't just managing buildings; you’re cultivating a neighborhood. You will be the CEO of your property, overseeing everything from the "big picture" financial health to the smallest details of curb appeal.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Mastery:
Develop and execute annual budgets, manage daily/monthly reporting, and maintain an ironclad grasp on income and expenses.
The Bottom Line:
You’ll be the champion of rent collections and delinquency management, ensuring the property remains profitable and efficient.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee the full lifecycle of the resident experience—from seamless move-ins and maintenance work orders to vendor contract negotiations.
Team Leadership:
Hire, mentor, and inspire a high-performing staff. You aren’t just a boss; you’re a coach.
Strategic Marketing:
Analyze rental trends, implement creative marketing plans, and set the standard for a community that people are proud to call home.
What You Bring to the Table We are looking for a high-caliber leader who meets the following:
Experience:
At least
3 years
of experience managing large-scale (300+ unit) market-rate communities.
Skillset:
You are a "closer" with a strong background in leasing and a firm but professional approach to collections and delinquency.
Communication:
You can build rapport with a frustrated resident and a corporate executive in the same hour.
Analytical Mind:
You enjoy diving into the data to solve problems and optimize performance.
