Your Key Responsibilities: Estimate costs for mechanical piping on various commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. Collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, project schedulers, foremen, clients, and subcontractors for seamless project execution. Analyze plans, conduct material take-offs, and create precise cost estimates for mechanical piping systems. Manage requests for information (RFIs), change orders, and submittals to ensure project success and client satisfaction. Support and mentor junior team members while collaborating with Senior Project Managers. Your Qualifications: 5+ Years of Experience:
Strong background in HVAC estimating and project management, particularly in mechanical piping. Diverse Project Experience:
Proven track record in various commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. Estimation Proficiency:
Skilled in preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing specifications, and managing bids. Industry Knowledge:
Familiarity with current trends and standards in the HVAC industry. Bachelor's Degree:
Preferred in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields. Effective Communication:
Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with teams and clients. Regulatory Knowledge:
Awareness of energy codes, project specifications, and local building codes. Organizational Skills:
