Corporate Sales Associate
at our Corporate Headquarters in
Columbia, MO
and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.
The Corporate Sales Team is responsible for responding to rental requests received through multiple platforms, such as the EquipmentShare website. This role requires strong time management, communication skills, and the ability to efficiently manage competing priorities. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of sales processes, supported by experience within the construction industry.
Primary Responsibilities
Quickly and efficiently respond and evaluate rental requests received from customers and re‑rent companies
Coordinate with branches and yard teams to confirm equipment availability and delivery timelines
Create and process rental orders accurately and in a timely manner
Track active rentals and address service requests, off‑rent notices, and billing inquiries
Respond to inbound calls generated from online campaigns; remain flexible and able to support multiple teams
Prepare and send rental quotes, submit orders, and manage follow‑up through rental completion

Skills & Qualifications
Must be a flexible, collaborative and self‑motivated individual
Must be detail‑oriented
Superior time management
Sales experience is a plus
Customer service experience is a plus
Ability to work across multiple platforms and mediums, tracking communication accurately
Strong communication skills as you deal with internal teams (yards, GMs, service techs, etc) and external customers (re‑rent collaborators, individuals, contractors, etc)
Adaptable to the fast pace of a growing company and stay continuously educated on the latest EquipmentShare
fleet , products, and services
Able to build rapport and resolve inquiries through professional phone communication
Able to pivot and answer questions that may not necessarily pertain to your role
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, sales, construction management, or a related field preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in inside sales, rental coordination, sales operations, or customer service; experience in the construction or equipment rental industry strongly preferred
Working knowledge of rental order processing, quoting, and follow‑through from initial request through completion
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
