POSITION SUMMARY Sales and marketing responsibilities for, developing new clients, and various assigned products and services. This position will require the development of new clientele and will additionally have assigned customer accounts combined with an assigned territory. Products will include, but not be limited to, production, pipeline, drilling, and machining.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop new client contacts and revenue streams
Perform market analysis and develop sales strategies
Determine inventory stocking for certain products
Organize and manage sales and marketing activities including attendance at trade shows, association meetings, and customer entertainment
Search and exploit sales opportunities in other industries that will support OSI Houston’s fabrication and production capabilities and capacity
Coordinate bid preparation and follow-up on customer orders
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and scheduled customer contact
Coordinate joint marketing projects with other OSI business units
Manage Sales Representatives and Distributors (Agents) in assigned territories
Weekly and Monthly activity reports
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide operations and technical interface with customers on an as‑needed basis
Utilization of the SharePoint software
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
College degree required or an additional 5 years’ experience in lieu of.
Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Power Point
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged sitting
Occasional walking and standing
Domestic and International travel
