Job Title: Kitchen Porter

The Riverside Park Hotel & Leisure Club located on the banks of the River Slaney in Co. Wexford have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a fast-paced team in our Kitchen.
Job Purpose We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. They will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations, ensuring hygiene and health standards are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Assist in the basic preparation of food as required by chefs.
Ensure all work surfaces, floors, and storage areas are kept clean and organised.
Handle and dispose of kitchen waste and recycling responsibly.
Assist with unloading and storing deliveries safely and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Support the kitchen team with any additional duties as required.
Participate in team training sessions and maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety practices.
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
