Description
UIDP is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Digital Asset and Web Manager to oversee UIDP’s extensive inventory of digital products and resources and manage ongoing website content development and maintenance. This individual will be responsible for ensuring UIDP’s digital materials and web presence are accurate, current, accessible, and presented in a professional and engaging manner. In addition to day-to-day execution, this role serves as UIDP’s internal steward of the website and digital content ecosystem, ensuring long-term consistency, usability, and alignment with organizational priorities.
Key Responsibilities Digital Asset and Product Management
Manage UIDP’s full inventory of digital products, publications, and resources, ensuring consistent organization, labeling, metadata, and version control.
Maintain a structured system for digital asset storage, retrieval, and archiving.
Ensure digital product listings, tags, and related materials are complete, accurate, and consistently updated.
Coordinate with internal staff to gather, review, and publish new or revised digital materials.
Serve as the primary point of accountability for digital asset lifecycle management, including intake, review, publication, updates, and archival.
Website and Web Content Management
Maintain and update UIDP’s website to ensure content is current, accurate, and aligned with UIDP branding and standards.
Create, build, and publish events and web pages, ensuring all information is accurate and formatted for a strong user experience.
Post and manage updates to web-based resources, product pages, and member-facing content.
Monitor web pages for outdated content, broken links, formatting issues, and overall usability.
Coordinate with external vendors or technical support as needed to resolve web functionality issues.
Serve as UIDP’s primary internal liaison to external web partners, supporting post-launch updates, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance.
Protect and maintain the integrity of site architecture, navigation, and page hierarchy as new content is added or revised.
This role is not responsible for custom web development but serves as UIDP’s internal owner of content quality, structure, governance, and ongoing optimization in partnership with external web vendors.
Content Review and Continuous Improvement
Conduct ongoing reviews of UIDP digital and web content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistent presentation.
Identify outdated or redundant materials and coordinate updates, replacements, or archival.
Collate and organize materials from multiple sources into polished, accessible digital formats.
Maintain a consistent structure and organization of web-based resources to support member engagement and accessibility.
Establish and maintain clear content governance processes, including intake, prioritization, review, approval, and publication workflows.
Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on web content standards, structure, and best practices.
Digital Strategy and Best Practices
Stay apprised of current trends, tools, and best practices related to web content management, digital assets, accessibility, and user experience.
Recommend improvements to strengthen UIDP’s digital presence and elevate the organization’s online impact.
Support strategic efforts to improve navigation, content clarity, usability, and overall effectiveness of UIDP’s web presence.
Monitor and review website performance using analytics tools, translating insights into actionable recommendations for content, structure, and usability improvements.
Support ongoing search optimization efforts, including metadata consistency, content findability, and internal linking.
Ensure web content meets accessibility standards (WCAG), coordinating with vendors and internal teams to address issues as they arise.
Other Duties as Assigned This position may be responsible for a variety of additional tasks to support the effective operation of the organization. These may include general administrative functions, clerical support, document preparation, data entry, scheduling assistance, meeting coordination, filing, supply management, and other office-related activities. Responsibilities may evolve based on organizational needs, and flexibility and a collaborative approach are essential.

Requirements Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, digital media, web management, marketing, information systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in digital asset management, web content management, or related roles.
Experience working with a content management system (CMS) such as WordPress.
Demonstrated experience managing large volumes of digital content with close attention to detail.
Strong written communication and editing skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with digital asset management systems (DAM platforms) and metadata best practices.
Basic knowledge of HTML, SEO, web formatting, and image optimization.
Experience interpreting web analytics and applying insights to content and usability improvements.
Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive web content practices.
Experience supporting online event pages and digital event communications.
Experience working in a membership organization, nonprofit, or professional association environment.
