Overview We are seeking a skilled interior designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the design of new builds, remodels, and furnishing project. If you have a strong background in interior design and project/client management, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget. Provide expert advice on design concepts, materials, color, and spatial arrangements.
Create and present designs including inspiration, concepts, renderings, and floor plans. Ensure designs meet client expectations and adhere to relevant regulations and standards.
Oversee the design process from initial concept to final installation. Collaborate with the project coordinator to ensure design intent.
Develop detailed floor plans and layouts that optimize space utilization and functionality.
Source and select materials, furnishings, and accessories that align with the design vision and client expectations.
Manage project budgets, tracking expenses to ensure the project stays within the allocated budget.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure design intent.
Stay current with industry trends, materials, and techniques.
Work closely with builders, architects, contractors, and other design partners to integrate design seamlessly.
Maintain a strong relationship with clients in a professional manner.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as an Interior Designer, with a strong portfolio.
Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite.
Strong understanding of color theory, space planning, and design principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client expectations and collaborate effectively with team.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
