UI/UX Designer – Figma
Denver, CO (onsite)
Up to $175K + Equity
My client is building the compute platform of construction — using frontier-level AI to parse complex construction drawings and transform how the $1.8 trillion construction industry operates. They're replacing paper drawings on job sites and making physical construction iterate as fast as code.
Fresh off a $5M seed round, you'd join during the golden window with 50% month-over-month growth and design partners including Fortune 100 construction firms. Work directly with the CEO in a small team where every person meaningfully shapes the product direction daily.
Own end-to-end design of complex AI-native interfaces — from drawing viewers to knowledge graphs — that distill massive construction data into intuitive experiences. $125-175K base plus equity, reporting directly to the CEO in Denver.
We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing experience in designing for complex, data-dense, and dynamic applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to distill intricate information into simple, intuitive, and beautiful user experiences. You will be the foundational designer, owning the end-to-end design process and working directly with the founders to shape a product that is transforming the construction industry. We need a designer with exceptional taste and judgment, who thrives on turning complex challenges into elegant solutions.
Requirements:
2 - 5 years of experience designing complex, data-dense, and interactive applications.
Experience designing for
multimedia or dynamic canvas-based interfaces
(e.g., maps, design tools like Figma, CAD software).
Designed for data-dense, workflow-heavy applications.
Experience designing for
AI-native products , understanding UX challenges of non-deterministic systems.
Experience as the primary or sole designer on a product OR contributed to big multimodal/multimedia product for at least 2 years.
Portfolio demonstrates strong systems thinking and scalability.
God-tier proficiency in
Figma
for rapid prototyping and high-fidelity mockups.
Ability to distill complex data into simple, beautiful, and intuitive user interfaces.
Designed for 3D, canvas, or document-centric applications.
Can build interactive prototypes in code (React, Framer).
Strong judgment and taste, with an appreciation for aesthetics and simplicity.
Strong communicator, can articulate design rationale to non-designers.
Portfolio must have great animations and interaction design.
Willingness to work in Denver, CO . - this is strongly preferred
What will you be doing?
Own the end-to-end design of our product experience, from initial concept and user research through to high-fidelity mockups and shipped pixels.
Design intuitive interfaces for complex data sources like construction drawings, including features like drawing viewers, knowledge graphs, and AI-generated outputs.
Create and manage a scalable design system to ensure a coherent user experience across all product surfaces.
Collaborate directly with the CEO and engineers to translate cutting-edge AI capabilities into clear, trustworthy, and human-centric user experiences.
Design dynamic and interactive user experiences, particularly for canvas-based interfaces, that allow users to fluidly move between different services and data visualizations.
