Role Description The Assistant Golf Professional will support the operation of the golf program at Forest Hill Field Club. Responsibilities include conducting golf lessons and clinics, assisting with golf shop operations, organizing tournaments and events, managing golf equipment, and ensuring high‑quality customer service for members and guests. This is a full‑time, on‑site position located in Bloomfield, NJ, requiring a hands‑on approach to providing an exceptional golf experience.
Qualifications
Skills in Golf Instruction and providing coaching for golfers of varied skill levels
Experience with Golf Management, including organizing tournaments and managing golf operations
Knowledge of Golf rules, techniques, and etiquette
Understanding of Golf Equipment and ability to provide guidance on equipment selections and maintenance
Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on delivering an excellent member and guest experience
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with golf shop point‑of‑sale systems and related technology is a plus
PGA/LPGA membership or working toward certification is highly preferred
