Your Opportunity as the Order Fulfillment Specialist, Customer Logistics

Location Orrville, Corporate Offices
Work Arrangements Hybrid – onsite a minimum of 9 days a month primarily during core weeks as determined by the Company; maybe more as business need requires.
In This Role You Will
Analyzing customer EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) orders of finished goods (and manual customer purchase orders) daily to ensure accurate pricing, ordering constraints, and sourcing locations to maximize supply chain efficiencies for both the customer and Smucker.
Reviewing customer orders and collaborating with internal supply chain teams to identify opportunities at Smucker Distribution Centers to maximize customer case fill rates.
Maintaining customer supply chain scorecard information to monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and provide the root cause and corrective action when goals are not met.
Identifying cost savings and opportunities that drive continuous improvement benefiting Smucker and the customer through data analysis.
Collaborating cross‑functionally to monitor the performance of third‑party freight carriers and warehousing service providers to meet/exceed customer and Smucker service goals.
Minimum Requirements What we are looking for
Bachelor’s Degree
1 year of related business experience
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with a proven track record of successful prioritization.
Strong leadership skills including interpersonal capabilities – the ability to engage and influence, problem solving, and analytical expertise in managing complex business situations and achieving objectives.

Analytical Thinking – The ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information.
Consumer Packaged Goods Industry experience
Customer Service Orientation – The ability to demonstrate concern for satisfying one's internal and external customers.
Written & Oral Communication – The ability to effectively express oneself in speech and via written word.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, including cross‑functional groups.
