Researching, writing, and editing news articles and scripts for CBT News. Your ability to craft compelling, accurate, and engaging news stories will be crucial.
On-Air Presentation:
Hosting news segments, delivering news reports and conducting on air interviews with confidence and professionalism. This includes both in-studio and on-location reporting.
Research:
Staying up-to-date with current events, conducting interviews, and gathering information to create well-informed news stories.
Collaboration:
Collaborating with the editorial and news team to develop story ideas, pitch topics, and participate in editorial meetings.
Adaptability:
Being ready to cover breaking news and adapt to changing situations quickly.
Engagement:
Building a rapport with our audience through social media and other engagement channels.
Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in journalism, broadcasting, or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong research and storytelling abilities.
Enthusiasm for on-camera work and writing.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced news environment.
Previous experience or internships in journalism or broadcasting are a plus.
