Residential/Commercial Projects- Estimator
Location: Tampa - Hybrid/Remote options available for the right candidate
Package: $70k - $100k + full benefits
We Search People are working in partnership with one of the largest GC's in Florida who specialize in residential projects and now moving into commercial as well.
Our client are offering an outstanding salary & benefits package, in addition to long-term progression.
Responsibilities
Responsible for calculating the material that is required for a construction project or any other type of manufacturing project utilizing our estimating software (Planswift).
Review necessary construction documents and consult with professionals to ensure the highest quality of work.
Participate in daily team strategy and workload meetings and weekly company goal meetings.
Occasionally visit job sites to work with our Field Team to achieve optimal assemblies and results.
Learn and work with proprietary scheduling and communicative software.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred (e.g., in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or Supply Chain Management), but not required.
Entry-level candidates welcome; we're open to training individuals with little to no experience, including recent graduates.
Working knowledge of residential construction, business processes, and software systems is a plus.
Ability to multitask with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
Balance of urgency and quality in all tasks.
