The Lead Custom Home Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the successful construction of luxury custom home projects valued at $1.3M to $3M. The ideal candidate will have a background in ground-up construction, leading and completing projects. The right candidate takes pride in leadership, organization, and excellence.
Select Responsibilities:
Manage 3-4 active custom projects at a time Manage project budgets in the $1.5M–$3M range per project Interpret very detailed plan sets and specification packets Lead weekly client walkthroughs Coordinate bids, purchase orders, and subcontractors Complete daily job and progress reports, including written logs and jobsite photos Provide daily correspondence to the Project Manager related to progress, performance Enforce jobsite safety protocols Manage the work performed to ensure it conforms to the contract documents Delegate tasks to assistant superintendents, engineers and other field staff Investigate and resolve day-to-day field issues Responsible for overall project success, including safety, profitability, schedule, and quality Maintain professional working relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors Qualifications:
5 years of experience as a Superintendent overseeing ground up, custom home or high-end residential projects. Proficient in Buildertrend and other construction-related computer software, as well as Microsoft Office Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering
