Description Regional Property Manager

is a role at Monroe Group. We are seeking a Regional Property Manager to manage our portfolio of affordable PBS8/LIHTC communities in the South East region. Ideal candidates enjoy mentoring and developing staff, work hard while having fun, and are strong problem-solvers.

has experience in Affordable Housing Apartment Operations, is a dynamic leader who can motivate and lead teams, is fully competent with all phases of financial and variance reporting, has a strong background in Project Based Section 8/LIHTC, is marketing savvy and proficient in MS Office and Google Apps, and has a passion for customer service!

The Job Our Regional Managers are fully accountable for providing support to onsite teams while they manage day‑to‑day property operations. They oversee and ensure value of the property is maintained, and that the property team is positive and successful. Specific responsibilities include:

Lead and mentor a dynamic team

Develop and manage the budget

Ensure the property meets KPI goals, occupancy, collections, compliance, turn‑times, asset and budget management

Evaluate property performance through quarterly auditing

Ensure that site teams deliver safe, decent, and sanitary housing to all residents

Requirements 75% travel, high school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred), minimum five years as a Regional Manager, working knowledge of Onsite or Yardi software, English proficiency, background check clearance.

Additional Requirements for Affordable Housing Properties Strong experience in affordable housing programs including LIHTC, HUD Project‑Based Section 8, HOME funds, and bonds; participation in REAC inspections and resident‑occupied project renovations.

Additional Information

The work schedule is Monday‑Friday (occasional weekends and evenings as needed)

Valid driver’s license and vehicle required

Up to 75% travel required to visit all properties

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check
