We are seeking an experienced and organized Events Specialist to join the Business Development team for this top global lawfirm. This role is focused in the end to end creation and execution of client appreciation and business development events. The ideal candidate will excel in managing events and ensuring seamless execution while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This opportunity is with a prestigious, top ranked global law firm with offices all over the world. This firm in headquartered out of NYC.

Description Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of firm events‑including client programs, CLE sessions, partner meetings, conferences, webinars, and internal celebrations‑from concept through post‑event reporting.

Collaborate with Partners, Business Development, Marketing, and Practice Group leadership to design event strategies that support client‑relationship objectives and firm‑wide priorities.

Manage all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio/visual production, room setup, staffing, guest accommodations, travel arrangements, and onsite operations.

Lead onsite event support, ensuring a seamless experience for partners, VIP clients, speakers, and attendees while proactively resolving issues in fast‑paced environments.

Oversee event communications and collateral development, coordinating with internal Creative, Communications, and IT teams to ensure consistent brand standards and high‑quality materials.

Administer invitation lists, RSVPs, and communications using CRM and event‑management platforms such as InterAction, Vuture, Cvent, or similar systems.

Track event metrics, attendee engagement, and feedback to evaluate program success and identify opportunities for improvement.

Prepare and manage event budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and ensure all expenditures align with firm policies and financial controls.

Maintain compliance with all Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements, accreditation rules, and jurisdictional guidelines for relevant programs.

Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, office administrators, vendors, venues, and external partners to ensure seamless coordination across offices and regions.

Stay current on event trends, best practices, and innovative formats to enhance the quality and impact of firm events.

Profile A successful Events Specialist should have:

Proven experience in event planning, ideally within legal or financial services environments.

Bachelor's degree for a four year college or university

Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple events simultaneously.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with diverse teams.

Proficiency in event management software and tools.

A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving

Job Offer

Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $120,000 per year.
