
Creative Designer - UX/Interactive

Market America is looking for a passionate and experienced UI/UX Designer to help shape and redesign our e-commerce retail experiences across web and mobile. In this role, you’ll contribute to designing and transforming our digital ecommerce stores, combining deep user empathy with strategic business thinking.
Position Summary The Creative Designer – UX focuses on producing high-impact digital creative—including banners, emails, social graphics, marketing collateral, and occasional landing page designs—while elevating the overall visual identity of the brand.
Essential Function and Responsibilities
Design engaging banners, digital graphics, email layouts, social content, and marketing materials for beauty and wellness campaigns.
Develop creative concepts and visual storytelling that support brand strategy and campaign objectives.
Create layout designs for landing pages and digital experiences using Figma.
Use Photoshop for advanced photo editing, retouching, and compositing, especially for product and lifestyle imagery.
Maintain a cohesive and consistent brand aesthetic across all creative deliverables.
Present creative concepts clearly and confidently to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Creative, and Product teams to bring ideas to life.
Supervisory Responsibilities
None
Performs any other functions and duties assigned and necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of Market America.
Education & Experience
3 - 5 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within beauty, skincare, cosmetics, or wellness industries.
Strong portfolio showcasing digital creative work, including banners, emails, social assets, and brand campaigns.
Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Photoshop; additional experience with Illustrator, InDesign, or Lightroom is a plus.
HTML/CSS experience is a plus.
Strong foundation in branding, typography, composition, and design hierarchy.
Excellent presentation and visual storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale.
Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
Beauty, skincare, cosmetics, or wellness creative background
Photo retouching and product compositing
Basic motion graphics (optional)
Computer/Communication Skills
Proficient use of MS Office programs: Word, Excel, and Outlook, required
High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted strategic projects in conjunction with day-to-day tactical activities

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Normal office environment with little exposure to dust and weather conditions prevalent at the time (i.e., cold hot/humid)
Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets
Regularly required to talk, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach with hands and arms, stoop kneel and crouch
Raise and lower an object from one level to the another, less than twenty (20) pounds.
Visual acuity must be a minimum or 20/40 (corrected) and normal hand/eye coordination
Normal or corrected hearing
Must be able to perform in an office environment where ninety (90) percent of work is performed sitting.
Occasional long or irregular hours of work
