Position Overview The Business Analyst will drive requirements definition, stakeholder facilitation, and delivery execution for TMO TSA exit and DSG portfolio initiatives, translating strategy into clear, testable artifacts, managing the requirements lifecycle, supporting UAT, and monitoring risks and dependencies. By partnering with TMO and DSG PMO leadership, the analyst will ensure alignment, operational readiness, and consistent governance, ultimately improving execution certainty, delivery quality, and PMO maturity.

Key Responsibilities
Requirements Management
– Elicit and document business needs, scope, objectives, assumptions, and constraints; produce clear, testable requirements and acceptance criteria; maintain requirements traceability from intake through delivery.
Stakeholder & Partner Facilitation
– Partner with business and technology leaders to align on desired outcomes; facilitate workshops to drive decisions, clarify priorities, and resolve ambiguity across functions.
Process & Operational Readiness
– Assess current state processes and design future state workflows; identify operational impacts, readiness needs, and adoption considerations—especially for TSA exits and transition to steady state.
Delivery Execution Support (Agile/Hybrid/Waterfall)
– Translate needs into the appropriate delivery artifacts (e.g., epics, features, user stories or BRDs); support backlog refinement or scope baselining; manage requirement changes through governance and approvals.
Dependency, Risk & Issue Support
– Identify and track cross‑team dependencies and requirement‑driven risks/issues; provide timely escalation inputs and decision support to maintain delivery timelines.
Testing & Validation (UAT Support)
– Define UAT approach with stakeholders; create test scenarios based on requirements; coordinate business testing, triage defects, validate outcomes, and support sign‑off.
Communication & Status Reporting
– Provide concise updates on requirements status, decisions needed, risks/dependencies, and readiness; ensure stakeholders understand what is changing and why.
Governance & PMO Standards Contributor
– Follow and help improve DSG PMO standards (templates, quality checks, definition of ready/done inputs, traceability practices); promote consistent documentation and auditability.
Continuous Improvement
– Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data/controls, reduce manual effort, and enhance customer/user experience; recommend measurable improvements aligned to DSG priorities.
Qualifications
7+ years of Business Analyst experience
supporting complex, cross‑functional initiatives (business + technology) from intake through delivery.
Strong requirements management expertise
– including elicitation, documentation, prioritization, traceability, and change control using Agile, hybrid, and/or Waterfall methods.
Proven ability to facilitate workshops and drive alignment among senior stakeholders.
Solid process analysis skills
(current/future state mapping), with the ability to translate business workflows into actionable delivery requirements.
Experience supporting testing and validation , including UAT planning, test scenario development, defect triage, and business sign‑off.
Strong dependency, risk, and issue management capabilities , with a track record of identifying cross‑team impacts early and escalating effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills , including the ability to produce clear artifacts and concise status updates for leadership audiences.
Experience operating within PMO governance , contributing to standards, templates, and quality controls to improve consistency and delivery outcomes.
Proficiency with common BA and delivery tools
such as Jira and Confluence (or equivalent), plus Visio/Lucidchart (or equivalent) and Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint).
Ability to work effectively in ambiguity , driving structure, clarity, and momentum in fast‑moving, high‑visibility environments.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
in Business, Information Systems, or a related field (MBA or BA certification a plus).
