Job Overview
As a Bank Operations Specialist - Entry, you will provide outstanding service to customers and bank staff by telephone, assisting with deposit activity and guiding staff and customers on bank policies and procedures.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Occasional Saturdays
Essential Functions
Cross-trained in all duties within the Bank Operations department and fill in as needed.
Support the Operations and Technology Division, Retail Banking, and corporate goals.
Perform all duties in compliance with internal procedures and local, state, and federal guidelines.
Complete tasks timely and accurately as outlined in the Bank Operations manual.
Handle a predetermined number of secondary functions daily as assigned by the Bank Operations Manager.
Maintain a high level of job performance to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required
Two years of banking or bank operations experience preferred
Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively with staff and customers, in person and by phone
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer use
Flexible to work varied hours, including occasional evenings or weekends
Bilingual skills are a plus
