Job Purpose Join our ProSolutions leadership team and drive high impact technical solutions across pump, power, and climate control. As the Technical Sales Manager, you’ll lead a team of Technical Sales Specialists, elevate customer engagement, and fuel revenue growth through expert solution design and strategic sales execution.
What You'll do
Lead & Win:
Guide the team in qualifying opportunities and take point on crafting and presenting best in class technical solutions to customers.
Collaborate to Grow:
Partner closely with Herc+, ProSolutions, and Classic sales teams to uncover new opportunities and strengthen key customer relationships.
Deliver Impact:
Develop targeted strategies that solve real customer pain points and drive ProSolutions growth within priority segments.
What you will do...
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Technical Sales Specialists to support sales campaigns, customer solution design, technical presentations, and product specific go-to-market strategies.
Collaborate with Sales Directors and District Managers to align technical sales strategies with revenue goals and market opportunities.
Oversee the execution of technical sales support, including job walks, customer consultations, and solution scoping.
Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality proposals, technical documentation, and customer-facing presentations.
Monitor and report on team performance using Salesforce and other CRM tools; drive accountability and continuous improvement.
Serve as a senior technical advisor for complex customer projects, ensuring alignment between sales, operations, and service delivery.
Identify market trends and recommend new equipment lines or solution offerings to meet evolving customer needs.
Represent the technical sales function in cross-functional meetings, training sessions, and strategic planning initiatives.
Requirements
High school or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
10 years of experience in equipment sales/rental or pump, power, or climate control industries, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record in managing technical sales teams and driving revenue through solution-based selling.
Strong operational background with experience in fleet management, sales enablement, and customer success.
Skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and public speaking skills.
Advanced business and financial acumen.

Pay Range: $150,000 - $170,000 salary + bonus + vehicle
