Job Title: Business Development Associate
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Associate to support our growth across defense, maritime, and industrial sectors. This role will be pivotal in customer outreach, relationship management, and program coordination to align our technical capabilities with customer needs.
Responsibilities
Support business development efforts across defense, maritime, and industrial customers. Assist with customer outreach, relationship management, and follow-ups. Track and manage opportunities in CRM systems and internal pipelines. Support meetings, site visits, and program coordination with customers and partners. Conduct market research on programs, customers, and competitive landscape. Work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and leadership teams. Essential Skills
3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, operations, logistics, program support, or a related role. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-moving environment. Comfort working with technical teams and complex products. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in defense contracting, government programs, or industrial manufacturing. Familiarity with DoD acquisition environments, shipbuilding, or aerospace is a plus. Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments. Military service or experience supporting the U.S. Department of Defense. Sales and customer service skills. Work Environment
This position requires on-site work from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. As part of a new startup in Hampton Roads, you'll be joining at the ground floor and contributing to its growth. Job Type & Location

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.44/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
