The MATERIAL PURCHASING AGENT will be responsible for managing branch inventories and ordering.
Job Responsibilities
Review and assist in purchasing
Vendor pricing and sell price maintenance
Perform branch inventories
Process daily cycle counts
Setting up new products
Month-end reporting
Some travel required
Negotiate and oversee corporate and local buys
Required Skills
Purchasing experience
Building material experience preferred
Managing multiple responsibilities with routine interruptions
MS Excel & Word skills
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Dependable and on-time
