
User Experience Designer

Overview As a Senior Designer, you turn ambiguous problems into shipped, measurable outcomes. You lead the design for a product or pod, bridging the gap between user needs, business strategy, and engineering feasibility. You don't just design interfaces; you raise the bar for the entire design organization.
Responsibilities Strategic Discovery
Lead discovery to define problems and user needs
Translate insights into clear product opportunities and testable hypotheses
End-to-End Execution
Design high-quality, accessible interfaces (Web/iOS/Android)
Create user flows that move the needle on KPIs like activation and task success
AI-Augmented Workflow
Leverage generative AI tools to accelerate ideation
Automate repetitive tasks (e.g., component variations, documentation)
System Ownership
Drive adoption and governance across platforms with 'accessibility by default'
Technical Collaboration
Partner deeply with Engineering and PMs to refine requirements
Navigate technical constraints
Ensure high-quality Design QA
Elevate team standards through critiques and documented decision-making
Mentor mid/junior designers in craft and strategy
Required Skills
Product Thinking: Ability to link design decisions directly to business models and success metrics (CSAT, North Star metrics)
Figma Expertise: Expert-level proficiency including Auto Layout 6.0, Multimode Variables, and logic-driven prototyping
AI Literacy: Proficiency in AI-driven design tools (e.g., Figma AI/Make)
Research Synthesis: Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Co-Pilot) to distill user interviews and feedback
Universal Design: Deep knowledge of WCAG 2.2 standards and ethical design patterns
Ability to communicate strong, evidence-based points of view and seek feedback
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and/or Related Experience
Full-stack designer comfortable with UX and UI Design
Skilled at providing UX deliverables: wireframes, user flows, journey maps
Ability to create solutions for interface and interaction design challenges
Experience creating low/high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes
Ability to articulate user needs into design solutions
Iterative design based on feedback, data, and constraints
Ability to clearly articulate design rationale
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience creating UI/UX specifications
Up-to-date with design trends and techniques
Attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to work with global teams
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Expert-level Figma user
Curiosity about human behavior and data-driven mindset
Continuous learning in UX and design
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and/or Related Experience
User research and usability testing experience
Graphic design skills and knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
Experience with design system component libraries
Relevant major or related field of study
Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Experience Design or related field
