Saint Ignatius College Prep – Chicago, IL Description The Admissions Associate – Recruitment and Marketing for Enrollment is a member of the school's admissions team. The Admissions Associate designs and implements the production of strategic, persuasive marketing and recruitment material. The Admissions Associate recruits students and families at both internal and external recruiting events including school visits, high school fairs, and neighborhood association events. The position reports to the Director of Admissions.
Job Summary
Coordinates recruitment of more than 125 offsite school fairs and presentations, ensuring the school is well‑represented at all off‑site events
Participates in admissions, recruitment, onboarding, and retention events (e.g., Open House, Admissions Coffees, Freshman Orientation); supports the operation efforts of these events
Assists the admissions office in managing and administering summer tours
Marketing & Communications
Designs and creates recruitment materials (collateral, videos, Instagram posts, Constant Contact communication pieces)
Develops content and stories for social media, email, and website
Copy‑edits admissions communications to ensure consistency and quality
Champions adherence to brand guidelines
Contributes admissions‑related content to broader school publications and marketing
Manages admissions media and recruitment calendar, including planning and implementation of monthly communication with prospective families
New Family/Student Onboarding
Supports the operational components of Freshman Family Meetings and new student onboarding, including teacher training, new student welcome book, and student packets
Facilitates in‑person and online makeup meetings
General & Administrative Admissions Support
Assists in interpreting the school's mission and programs to prospective families
Supports admissions team with logistics and presence at events, tours, open house, etc.
Supports the admissions process and review of a portfolio of applicants
Performs other duties as assigned
Data Management
Contributes to the upkeep and maintenance of Blackbaud to track, process, evaluate, and select prospective students and families
Maintains accurate records of admissions, event attendance and tours
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required, communications, marketing, or related field preferred
1–3 years of experience in admissions, marketing, communications, or education preferred
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to detail and brand consistency
Experience creating digital and print marketing content (social media, email, video, and collateral)
Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools preferred
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and customer‑service skills
Strong organizational and project‑management abilities; able to manage multiple priorities and events
Ability to work collaboratively and represent the school professionally at recruitment events
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; experience with Blackbaud preferred
Commitment to the mission and values of Saint Ignatius College Prep
Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for admissions and recruitment events
