Montessori Family and Community Engagement Coordinator The Family and Community Engagement Coordinator (FACE) is responsible for supporting, empowering, and advocating for students and families through information, education, and community resources. The Family and Community Engagement Coordinator plays a pivotal role in maintinaing and enhancing the current Fatherhood Initiative program, developing/enhancing relationships with the children and families of CREC magnet schools and with community members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with the Principal to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Maintain open and consistent communication with families about school and community events and opportunities via email, social media, newsletter, phone calls, and text.

Work closely with the attendance team in monitoring student attendance, including excused and unexcused absences and tardiness.

Actively participate in recruitment fairs and support marketing efforts within the school and community to promote our schools and attract new families.

Build relationships and collaborate with the community (e.g. faith-based organizations, family support, health services, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, OR one to two years of related experience and/or training, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
