As a Bar Porter at Borgata, you will be responsible for stocking all glassware, condiments, beer, paper products, and other essential items required for the efficient operation of our beverage outlets. In addition to these tasks, you will provide excellent guest service, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all patrons.**THE DAY-TO-DAY:*** Stock and serve assigned beverage outlets, maintain assigned levels of inventory, including delivery and stock of glassware, condiments, packaged beverages, paper products, and other necessary items* Maintain cleanliness of beverage areas including all related assigned bar equipment, tools, supplies, trash removal, deep cleaning, sanitation and work area, to include cleaning refrigerators, countertops, and mopping floors* Complete required paperwork including bar transfers and dry stock deliveries* Maintain pars of liquor, beer, and supplies in cooler and dry storage area, order as needed* Responsible for set-up and breakdown of portable bars in designated areas* Ensure use of correct freight elevators and delivery routes to designated hotel areas and beverage outlets* Organize and maintain beverage pump room areas, including pump room products, storage rooms, and warehouses, and identify non-stock items and alert management as necessary* Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft* Perform other job-related duties as requested**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:*** High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred* 6+ Months of food service experience preferred* Required to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays**THE PERKS & BENEFITS:*** Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally* Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and more.* Free meals in our employee dining room* Free parking on and off shift* Healthcare, financial, and time off benefits* Professional and personal development through programs and networking opportunities as well as volunteer opportunities in the community**VIEW JOB DESCRIPTION:****Pay Rate:**The rate for this role is:$22.00This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans.
