Position Overview We are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented Point of Sale (POS) Associate to join our team. This role focuses on assisting customers with riding gear, parts, accessories, and completing transactions accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment and has an interest in powersports.
Key Responsibilities
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for purchases, returns, and special orders
Assist customers in selecting riding gear including helmets, jackets, gloves, boots, and protective equipment
Help customers locate and order parts and accessories
Answer product questions and provide recommendations based on customer needs
Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked retail displays
Process payments (cash, card, financing) accurately
Coordinate with service and parts departments to ensure smooth transactions
Stay informed about current promotions, new products, and inventory
Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after the sale
Qualifications
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
Experience with POS systems is a plus
Basic knowledge of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, or powersports equipment preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a busy retail environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
