Role Purpose The Inside Sales Representative role provides an excellent opportunity to join a high-performance Sales team operating in the fast growth industrial, biomedical and aerospace sectors. This position is ideal for someone looking to develop a strong base of fundamental sales skills needed for a successful career in sales.

The job holder will be responsible for assisting the Sales and Marketing teams by communicating with customers, understanding their needs, developing and qualifying new leads, and ensuring a smooth sales process. The job holder will be results oriented, organized, and have strong customer and sales communication skills. They will be able to close sales and meet targets.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Communicate with customers, make outbound calls to potential customers, and follow-up on leads.

Understand customers' needs and identify sales opportunities relevant to HITEC’s unique sensor solutions.

Answer potential customers' questions and send additional information via email.

Research and qualify new leads using AI and other tools.

Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers.

Keep up with product and service information and updates.

Explain and demonstrate features of products and services.

Stay informed about competing products and services.

Upsell products and services.

Close sales and achieve sales targets.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Business or a technical discipline

Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related Sales position preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce.com.
