A Day in the Life of an Inside Sales Representative As an Inside Sales Representative, you play a vital role in supporting daily customer account operations and ensuring smooth, accurate fulfillment of client orders. Your responsibilities include:
Preparing customer quotes, reviewing pricing, delivery details, and quote terms
Processing customer purchase orders with accuracy and efficiency
Managing order status through backlog and open‑order reports in internal systems and customer portals
Tracking and following up on quote logs, open orders, and customer inquiries
Coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure on‑time delivery
Serving as a key liaison between customers and suppliers
Supporting the sales team by responding to, processing, and documenting Requests for Quotes (RFQs)
Assisting the field sales team with business development initiatives
Providing exceptional account management to both new and existing customers
Qualifications
Proficiency with
ERP systems
Strong
Microsoft Excel

Excellent written communication skills, especially via email
Ability to excel in a

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
