Competitive wage of $20-$21/hour, depending on experience, plus new lease commission, and shared renewal commission

Responsibilities As a leasing agent, you play a key role in marketing our community and keeping it leased, including completing lease agreements and collecting application fees and security deposits. Under the direction of the Property Manager, your other key responsibilities include:
Ensure model apartments are ready for show, and make sure office and work areas are clean and orderly
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of lease terms, community policies, current market conditions, and telephone and sales techniques
Stay informed on current rental rates, sizes, locations, and property amenities
“Shop” competitive properties and engage in weekly marketing outreach
Develop ongoing retention programs under the direction of the Property Manager
Play an active role in the renewal process
Help maintain all resident and property files
Handle all resident requests and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
Assist in collecting delinquent rents, and help with other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Maintain a regular schedule which may require working outside business hours, weekends and non‑traditional holidays
Must be able to walk the property which includes climbing stairs
Ability to sit, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, push, pull, reach, carry supplies and stand for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 25 pounds
Write routine reports and correspondence
Communicate effectively with prospective residents, current residents, co‑workers, and vendors
Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, pro‑rations, and percentages
Work Schedule This leasing agent position works a typical schedule of 40 hours Monday through Saturday.
