Immigration Paralegal
to provide essential legal and administrative support for the law firm and the firm attorneys. This position is full‑time and is a permanent position.

RESPONSIBILITIES Under supervision of firm’s attorneys, the immigration paralegal will:
Research and gather evidence related to film and commercial production industries, art galleries, theatrical productions, start‑up businesses and other creative fields for use in visa applications
Organize and collate documentary evidence according to regulatory criteria for a variety of visa categories including O‑1B visas for “artists of extraordinary ability”
Assume responsibility for physical and digital mail correspondences from USCIS and updating attorneys as to the progress of cases
Serve as the firm’s representative to US Citizenship and Immigration Services, including communicating with the government agency via phone and email
Draft business letters, client correspondence, and firm advisories and/or newsletters
Draft legal documents and immigration filings, including US Citizenship and Immigration Services and US Department of State forms, attorney briefs, detailed exhibit lists, argument summaries, etc.
Maintain effective and clear communication with firm clients and attorneys in a timely fashion
Manage a team of remote research paralegals, including assigning cases and troubleshooting research questions
Manage office details as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of experience as an immigration paralegal
Excellent communication, writing and organizational skills
Strong analytical and research skills
Self‑starter with an aptitude for working independently and on multiple projects concurrently
Effective time management skills, including the ability to prioritize projects and manage caseload efficiently
Thoroughness and exceptional attention to detail required
Interest in the arts, law, and immigration policy a plus
Desire for long‑term commitment
