Description As a Facilities Director at Devereux, you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion to demonstrate the skills needed to develop and manage a high quality of service to Operations and support partners.

Devereux Pennsylvania Adult Services provides programs and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Located in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, this position oversees all facility‑related activities including building and grounds maintenance, environmental compliance, HVAC systems, budget management, facility planning, building system maintenance, contractor management, and the management of plans for renovations, additions or new buildings. Ensuring the facility complies with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications Education:

A bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, business administration, or a related field is typically required. A master's degree can be advantageous.

Certification:

Professional certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) from the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) are preferred.

Experience:

At least 5‑7 years of experience in facilities management of multiple site locations and relevant supervisory experience.

Skills:

Strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in technical/engineering operations related to facilities. Ability to handle multiple projects and manage individuals. Ability to organize resources and establish priorities. Knowledge of project management and facility management software preferred.
