Position/Duties Intervention Specialist (Grades K–12)
The Newton Falls Exempted Village School District is seeking a dynamic, student‑centered Intervention Specialist licensed for grades K–12. The ideal candidate will bring diverse instructional skills and a strong foundation in primary reading, with the ability to support students across multiple grade levels in multiple schools.
Salary As per the Negotiated Agreement.
Qualifications
Strong background in early literacy and reading intervention.
Experience in a co‑teaching setting and resource room environment.
Demonstrated skill in IEP development and implementation.
Familiarity with Ohio’s Learning Standards and data‑driven instruction.
Science of Reading and Dyslexia training preferred.
Experience supporting students at the high school level is a plus.
This position serves multiple grade levels and requires flexibility, collaboration, and a commitment to helping every student succeed academically and behaviorally.
