The Opportunity Hexagon is seeking a high-performing

Account Executive

to drive new business growth across the Western U.S. region (CA, OR, WA, AK, HI). This is a strategic, quota-carrying role focused on selling complex enterprise software solutions to Public Safety and State & Local Government agencies.

You will own your territory, build executive-level relationships, and lead full-cycle sales efforts that directly impact communities by modernizing mission-critical public safety operations.

Responsibilities

Drive new business development and revenue growth across the Western region.

Sell complex enterprise software solutions to Public Safety and State & Local Government agencies.

Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and close.

Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to exceed quota.

Build trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders including CIOs, Chiefs, Command Staff, and IT leadership.

Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including pre-sales, product specialists, and leadership.

Manage RFP/RFI responses and formal procurement processes.

Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in Salesforce.

Represent Hexagon at regional events, conferences, and industry associations.

Education / Qualifications

5+ years of enterprise software sales experience in a quota-carrying role.

Experience selling into Public Safety or State & Local Government agencies preferred.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong expertise in territory management, prospecting, negotiation, and closing.

Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and formal procurement processes.

Excellent executive presence and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating cross-functionally.

Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
