We’re seeking a talented, UX/UI Designer to join an experimentation software design team on a six-month freelance engagement. You’ll design high-impact internal tools used by tens of thousands of users, transforming complex requirements into intuitive, elegant experiences.

What You’ll Do

Design UX/UI for high-value internal web applications and tooling

Translate product and stakeholder requirements into clear user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs

Apply and extend existing design systems and style guides to deliver clean, web-ready designs

Create a unified, highly functional vision from multiple stakeholder inputs

Define an ideal north-star experience and a phased roadmap to iteratively achieve it

Write clear, concise interface copy that supports usability and discoverability

Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data teams in an agile environment

Manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines

Required Qualifications

7+ years of professional experience in UX/UI or interaction design for web or software applications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, UX/UI, or equivalent professional experience

Strong grounding in information architecture, interaction design, and usability best practices

Demonstrated ability to design for complex, data-rich, or internal tools

Proficiency in HTML/CSS and familiarity with front-end implementation constraints

Exceptional attention to detail across layout, typography, interaction, and copy

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and collaborate with highly technical teams

Strong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-starter mindset; customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player

Online portfolio required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing UX/UI that incorporates AI-driven features or workflows

Comfort working with data, metrics, and basic statistics to inform design decisions
