Overview
Accurately open, operate and close the point of sale system (ForeUp) per the management standards.
Operate and organize Club Events with Golf Genius Tournament Software. This includes, but is not limited to: cart tags, scorecards, rules sheets, contest holes, player lists, scoreboards, tournament scoring, results sheets, sponsor signs and any additional tasks that may be required.
Answers customer's questions about merchandise and provides information pertaining to the golf course.
Assists with tracking inventory and restocking store merchandise including golf clubs, shoes, golf balls, tees and other golf equipment or apparel.
Organizes merchandise so that the store is in presentable condition.
Handles and count cash, make accurate change, record credit cards, gift certificates and Member charges described by standard operating procedures.
Collect green fees, cart fees, and other incomes.
Assist with physical inventories as required.
Assist with the daily cleaning of the golf shop to ensure continued cleanliness and appearance of the Golf Shop, storage areas, and merchandise displays.
Ensure that displays are kept at par stock inventory levels at all times and that the appearance meets or exceeds.
Special projects or other duties as assigned.
Experience Required Level 1 PGA Preferred
Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Performs work under direct supervision.
Computer Savvy. (Electronic tee sheet ForeUp, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, Golf Genius).
Positive attitude, works well with others, patience, clear communication when answering phone calls
Essential Responsibilities

Assist golf staff in day to day responsibilities.
Help organize and merchandise golf shop.
Assist with corporate golf events start to finish.
