Lighting Designer (Power Distribution)

Overview This position will involve meeting with the public to discuss lighting demands based on company standards and requirements, conducting site visits to determine customer lighting demands for residential, business and subdivisions, and identifying and verifying utility infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Formulate and design outdoor lighting plans that meet customer needs and comply with standards.

Communicate with clients, customers, crews, and other agencies.

Balance office design work with field days and maintain schedules.

Walk on site to carry equipment, stake poles, and flag routes.

Address and resolve customer complaints, finding appropriate resolutions.

Basic knowledge of electric fundamentals

Degree 2-4 year degree (highly encouraged, but not required)
