Position Summary Vertiv's Global Strategic Accounts (GSA) organization is hiring a Sales Data Analytics Specialist to support with the research, development, and deployment of actionable best-in-class statistical and machine learning models and methods to measurably improve the effectiveness and overall outcomes of the GSA Project Execution team.
Responsibilities • Develop processes to support advanced analytics and data driven decision making processes. • Provide consultative and direct support to assist the development of foundational analytics capabilities to accelerate and • leverage advanced analyses. • Implement best practices in model development, recommend appropriate models for business needs, support business review processes with effective visualizations and automate processes where needed. • Communicate complex topics to senior and regional leaders and build strong relationships and data/model confidence at all levels of the sales organization. • Mentor others to promote a culture of collaborative growth and continuous learning and improvement
Minimum Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics, Engineering or other related technical field. • 5 years experience with Power BI architecting.
Preferred Experience • AI, machine learning, Power Apps, Power Automate, or similar tools • Programmatic statistical languages like Python or R. • SQL and a large data platform like Snowflake or Hadoop. • Exposure to and proficiency in a broad range of analytics methods and how to deploy them in real-world applications
