As a Parts Counter Associate, you're one of the most important team members at Norm Reeves Toyota in Dallas. You're responsible for assisting guests primarily through the shop, and even on the phone or online. You'll provide an exceptional guest experience by pulling and filling orders, organizing inventory, keeping current on new products and product updates and communicating with our internal team, external vendors and guests in a friendly, professional and efficient manner. Core Responsibilities Inform customers of companion parts and specials, locate out-of-stock items from outside sources, and submit emergency orders as needed Monitor inventory levels, notify the Parts Manager of out-of-stock or shop materials requiring immediate attention, and follow up on back-ordered parts Verify will-call/back-order files, vendor returns, and unclaimed stock items on a weekly basis Coordinate with Service Advisors on special order arrivals, assist outside sales reps, and ensure internal parts requests are billed to the correct repair order Maintain organized records of repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts; support lost sales tracking and other duties as assigned Basic Requirements Must be 18+, hold a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Previous parts sales experience required; dealership experience a plus Strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance, strong work ethic, and full-time availability Benefits & Employee Perks Medical, Dental, Vision, and Complimentary Life Insurance - Available the first day of the month following hire date 401k Matching and FSA Tuition Reimbursement Paid Time Off (accrues) Supplemental Insurance (Hospital, Accident, Critical Illness) Discounts on Vehicles, Services, and Parts Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
