Position Summary

Provides administrative assistance to manager and other department staff for commercial real estate loan closings and construction loan draw monitoring. Works with commercial lenders, Credit Administration and other administrative personal on compliance requirements of the Environmental Risk Policy. Essential Requirements Monitors commercial construction projects to completion. This includes set up of all data for monitoring, as well as reviewing construction documents, ordering construction inspections and other determined supporting documents, analyzing and balancing the Contractor's Application and Certification for Payment, reviews and comprehends written reports, resolves or escalates significant inspection problems as necessary, funds draw requests when all requirements have been met and monitors that the project is on track for established completion date, and budget and post-closing conditions. Maintains loan monitoring systems for construction draws and environmental requirements. Assists commercial lenders and Credit Administration with questions regarding commercial real estate loans. Demonstrates customer service accountability by responding promptly to customer and commercial lender inquiries resolving routine problem and escalates complex or unresolved situation to the proper authority for further review. Assists in preparation of Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents as needed. Maintains department supply orders. Provides administrative support for manager and other department staff (ie., preparation of correspondence, gathering supporting documentation for legal inquiries, and calendar coordination). Forwards both non-construction and construction monitoring support documentation to Nautilus. Works with the regional CDC's on SBA 504 loans regarding SBA loan payoffs by supplying various required closing items. Maintains desk files. Serves as the central point for obtaining quotes, ordering and tracking orders of environmental reports and clearing loans for closing from an environmental perspective per the Bank policy. Works with outside counsel and environmental firms as needed. Escalates environmental issues to manager. Manages payment of invoices to third party providers. Orders title insurance with applicable endorsements as instructed. Obtains quotes and orders surveys with applicable Table A requirements as requested. Orders preconstruction reviews as requested. Establishes and maintains procedures for timely payments to third part vendors. Processes loan advances via deposits or wire transfers. Processes interest payments on construction loans. Establishes and maintains department procedures for construction loan draws and other department activities Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of the position. Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position. Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and comply with the requirements. Performs all other duties as assigned. Experience/Skills Five (5) or more years in banking in an administrative/lending environment preferred with a high level of customer service involvement. Problem solving skills with attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with all different departments. Excellent time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Self-motivated and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to meet specific deadlines. Education

Bachelor's Degree preferred. Travel Requirements

Minimal or occasional travel to visit construction site, meetings, projects or training as needed. Physical Demands
