Responsibilities As a Licensed Insurance Representative, you will be responsible for advising clients on insurance policies, assessing their needs, and providing suitable coverage options. Bilingual candidates are highly preferred to better serve our diverse customer base.
Assist clients in selecting appropriate insurance policies, auto, and property insurance.
Explain policy features, benefits, and terms clearly and accurately.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products and industry regulations.
Process applications, renewals, and claims efficiently.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with team members to meet sales and service goals.
Qualifications
Valid insurance Utah state insurance license
Proven experience as an insurance representative or similar role preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Bilingual in [languages, e.g., English and Spanish] highly preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Computer literacy
Additional Information The position is more sales oriented, involving lead follow ups, quoting and multi-lining existing customers for more products.
Compensation consists of an hourly wage and commissions on new business and added products sold. There is no ceiling to the commissions. The more you sell the more commissions you make.
As mentioned above, a Utah state insurance license is required prior to employment. Arrangements will be made to provide you study materials and test prep as well as reimbursement of fees to take the exam.
