The Realms of Asgard (TROA) is a registered nonprofit organization founded in 2017 with a clear and focused mission to create a safe, inclusive space where people can connect, feel supported, and know they are not alone. Built around gaming, community, and mental health advocacy, TROA serves individuals from all walks of life, particularly those navigating mental health challenges.
Moderator Overview Volunteer Moderators are the first line of support and enforcement within TROA’s digital community. They maintain civility, handle conflicts, and ensure all users follow established guidelines. TROA Moderators embody professionalism, fairness, and respect.
Primary Responsibilities
Monitor chat activity to ensure compliance with community rules.
De‑escalate conflicts and enforce moderation actions when necessary.
Communicate with the Discord Jarl regarding rule updates or escalations.
Provide feedback and suggestions for community improvement.
Greet new members and assist them with onboarding or technical questions.
Preferred Skills / Qualities
Strong sense of fairness and discretion.
Active communication skills.
Prior moderation or community management experience.
Patience and professionalism in handling sensitive situations.
